combine ingredients. knead briefly on a lightly floured board. press into a 1/2 inch thick circle and cut wedges. Bake at 400 degrees for 12minutes until light brown.
A place that students from my cooking class can find recipes from the class. A place for the general public to find recipes. Include recipes for old fashion, simple food. A place where new and old recipes can be shared. Recipes will be easy to follow and understand.

Ressie's no bake cookie
2C sugar
1tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup cocoa
1pinch salt
1/2 C + 2T almond milk
1 stick butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
3cup oatmeal
1/4 cup chopped walnuts

- mix in pan sugar , milk, butter ,salt
- heat to boiling on medium heat .
- take off stove and let cool for 1 min.
- add vanilla ,peanut butter, oats and walnuts

Reesie's Blueberry 4th of july muffins
2C. flour
1/2c oat. flour
1 T flax
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1C. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1C. buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
1 butter stick, melted
pint blueberries
1/2 C. walnuts
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Mix dry ingredient on a paper plate. In a large bowl, mix buttermilk, eggs and melted butter. Add dry ingredients and mix until combined. Fold in blueberries and walnuts. Fill muffin tins 3/4 full. Sprinkle top of muffins with sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 18-20 minutes. Muffins will be done when toothpick inserted comes out clean. Enjoy!

Reesie's Griled Potato Salad
Ingredients
Potatoes
5-6 small red potatoes
1 small sweet potato, peeled and cut in cubes
1 pkt Lipton dry vegetable soup mix
1 T olive oil
Other
1 stalk celery, diced
1/3 green pepper, diced
1/3 orange pepper, diced
1/3 onion, diced
3 hard boiled eggs, sliced
Vinaigrette
1/4 cup olive oil
2 T red wine vinegar
1 tsp Dijon mustard
2 T chopped fresh parsley
kosher salt and ground black pepper
Directions
In a large Ziploc bag, mix potatoes with the seasoning packet and olive oil. Then grill over medium heat until fork tender. Let cool.
Mix up vinaigrette while the potatoes are grilling and cooling. Once the potatoes are cool, mix them with the other ingredients and vinaigrette. Chill in fridge for at least 1 hour before serving.

Reesie's spring granola bar
ingredients
2 c old fashion oats
1 c shredded coconut
1/2 c wheat germ
4 T butter
2/3 c honey
1/3 c brown sugar
1 1/2 t vanilla
1/4 t kosher salt
1/2 chopped dates
3/4 c dried cranberries
1/2 C pecan pieces
1/3 C sunflower seeds
1/3 c pepitas
1/2 c creamy peanut butter
1/3 c. chopped figs
3/4 c. dried cherries
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line 9X13 cake pan with parchment paper.
Toss the oatmeal, pepitas, pecans, sunflower seeds, and coconut together on a sheet pan and bake for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned. Transfer the mixture to a large mixing bowl ad stir in the wheat germ.
Reduce the oven temperature to 300 degrees.
Place the butter, honey, brown sugar, vanilla, peanut butter, and salt in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook and stir for a minute, then pour over the oatmeal mixture. Add the dried fruits and stir well.
Pour the mixture into the pan. Wet your fingers and lightly press the mixture evenly into the pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until light golden brown. Cool for at least 2-3 hours before cutting into squares.
Enjoy!!

1 egg
1 C chocolate chips, melted
in a bowl, combine first 3 ingredients
in a bowl, mix butter and sugars. Add coffee, egg and chocolate. mix in flour mixture.
cover and refrigerate 1 hours.
roll dough in teaspoon size balls.
bake at 350 degrees for 10 min. remove and cool on wire racks.

3 green onions chopped
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1 stalk celery, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
1 pepper (green, yellow, red or orange), chopped
1/2 cup green peas
1 cup small shrimp, peeled & deveined
1 egg, beaten
2 T soy sauce
Old Bay Seasoning
Mrs. Dash Seasoning
Instructions:
1. Saute vegetables in 1 T sesame oil with a little bit of Mrs. Dash seasoning.
2. Empty vegetables into another bowl.
3. Put shrimp in pan with the other T of sesame oil and a little bit of Old Bay seasoning. Cook until shrimp is pink.
4. Add vegetables back into pan.
5. Add beaten egg and cook until scrambled.
6. Add in cooked rice. Stir together to combine. Add soy sauce at the very end and heat through.
Serve & Enjoy!

Ressie's flat bread pizza
1 1/2 C all purpose flour
1/2 C whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. coriander
1/2 tsp. Mrs. Dash (any flavor)

- to dry flour add spices
- make dough by adding 1T of cold water at a time until dough forms and spring back when touched. Cut into 8 pieces
- cook on a flat pan use a little oil
- add sauce, cheese, and toppings
- bake 400 15min.

- chicken , spinach, artichoke, mushroom , black olives, cheese
